If you’re just starting out in affiliate marketing, I recommend that you NOT worry about CJ (Commission Junction) at this point and just focus on ClickBank.com.
The honest truth is that CJ, as respected an affiliate network as it is, is a bit harder to deal with for someone who is just starting out. Why? CJ requires that you have a website upon signing up, and many of their merchants manually review your site before you get approved.
With ClickBank you’re automatically approved for all their merchants, and they don’t require that you have a website. When I was just starting out I made almost all my money with ClickBank. Depending on the merchant, CJ can also place a lot of restrictions on what keywords you can bid on, etc.
CJ also does not support Google conversion tracking, so if you want to track which keywords convert, you will need a 3rd party conversion tracking software to do it. (Anik and I have just acquired a KILLER program to do this, and we will provide it to you at a deep discount… more about this soon!)
That being said, CJ is still an excellent network with some great affiliate offers. I personally know a number of CJ Top Performers who kill it with CJ every month. This is why I recommend that you look for offers in CJ, once you've gotten started with some ClickBank offers.
The best option is throw up a quick website is to create a wordpress blog or simply use
