A few years ago, I pretty much hated email marketing. I had unresponsive lists that I had built with low quality methods...and it was frustrating.

But things have turned around and now I consider my mailing lists as my number 1 business asset.

I'll be talking to you about list building, relationship building and conversion strategies...which brings me to my first tip and that's....

It's not about the size of your list, but the quality of your subscribers and how they respond to you. Yes, we're going to talk about how to build your list, but we're going to concentrate on methods that bring highly responsive subscribers to you.

So, stop worrying about how many subscribers you have. That statistic is not so important (unless you sell advertising,
which we'll talk about in later weeks). The statistic that is important is your subscriber value. In other words, how much money you make, in relation to the number of subscribers.

If you spend all your time acquiring a ton of subscribers with crappy methods (which I will also talk about in coming
weeks), you'll have a big list of people you can't sell much to.

But if you concentrate on quality, you'll do great. That means quality subscribers, quality content and quality product recommendations.

You REALLY can make a lot more money with a smaller list, if you treat them right. In fact, we do it all the time with our
Internet-marketing related lists. Our smallish database of often pulls in more than the "big guys" with hundreds  of thousands of emails on their lists...and we want you to be able to do the same.
